This unique full-day outing offers a combination of the Private Santa Barbara Beach Ride and the Wine & Horses Tour.

Guests head to the Summerland Farms Riding Stables for a 75-minute horseback ride through the stunning Montecito Foothills down to a remote Summerland Beach (tides permitting). Following the ride, guests staying in the Santa Ynez Valley are chauffered back into wine country where they begin their afternoon Wine & Horses Tour. Guests departing from Santa Barbara Coastal City hotels can self-drive from the stables to our pick-up location at the Santa Ynez Valley Marriott (or other pickup location) where they are met by our Wine & Horses hosts and board our luxury vehicle. Guests are then guided through two premium wine tastings, tour two of the Valley's illustrious horse facilities and enjoy a hearty, gourmet lunch.

The Particulars

  1. All-inclusive cost is $235 per person up to 7 people (maximum number of riders at one time).
  2. Includes roundtrip transportation for Santa Ynez Hotels guests to Beach Ride and Wine & Horses Tour
  3. Requires 48-hour advance reservation for most tours
  4. Day-prior reservations occasionally available, and only by phone confirmation. Call 805-688-5984.
  5. Horseback Rides begin in Santa Barbara at 8:30 am, with Santa Ynez Valley Hotel pickup at 7:30 am.
  6. Include gourmet lunch, two guided wine tastings and two guided horse farm tours. Menu choices provided when tour is booked.
